Mission Statement
It is the mission of the Sonshine Day Care Center to provide high quality early childhood care and education at affordable cost in a safe and loving Christian environment.
Believing each child is a unique gift from God to be cherished, encouraged, and nurtured, we will:
- Serve children and support families with Christ's love as our model.
- Share the love of Christ in words and action.
- Care for children's physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs, with an age-appropriate approach, to help children develop in each of those areas to their God-given potential.
- Advocate for all children, by looking through eyes of faith at issues of care, family support, health, education, social justice and public policy.
Taking a little child in his arms, Jesus said:
"Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me, welcomes my Father who sent me."
